Existentialism In Elementary School

It was 5th grade, In Mrs. Gillespy Williams class in fact, when we were asked the question, What are the basic elements to sustain life for human beings?... but with less fancy words mind you. Seeing as it was an opened question for the classroom, everyone took their turn raising their hands, which took about an hour for everyone to say their jibber-jabber...So an hour later, it was official, we had made a list of the necessities a human being must have in order to survive. 1. Food- which is debatable when I play operation shrink stomach 2. Water- way before flavored waters 3. Shelter- no one was picky about this one, just the normal type I guess. And last but not least...4. Love... that's all, just love. How interesting that a bunch of premature pouffy banged children chose love as one of the final basic requirements for sustaining life.

Can you believe Mrs. Gillespy-Willams called me the other day at hastings? talk about a blast from the past. That is very strange, and pure though. Pure is a good word for it, their pretty little untainted minds can see that love is important..how sweet.
